Paul Crowley
President

Executive Director, Greater Lynn Senior Services

Paul Crowley has over 30 years of experience in the governance, executive and financial management of for- & not-for-profit organizations. Since 2009, he has served as the Executive Director of Greater Lynn Senior Services (GLSS) - a human services organization assisting people age 60 and older and adults living with disabilities on the North Shore of Boston. GLSS is one of the region’s largest providers of para-transit services to people living with disabilities. Prior to serving as Executive Director, Paul was on the GLSS Board of Directors as President and a member of its Finance Committee, among many other board and advisory group appointments.

Scott Trenti
Vice-President

Executive Director, SeniorCare, Inc.

Scott Trenti is a licensed Social Worker and has worked in human services over the past 36 years. For the past twenty-two years, Mr. Trenti has worked in Elder Services as a Protective Services Caseworker and Protective Services Program Director at SeniorCare, Director of Client Services at Minuteman Senior Services, and most recently as the Director of Home Care at SeniorCare. Since 2013, Scott has served as the Executive Director of SeniorCare.

Paul Lanzikos
Treasurer

Executive Director, North Shore Elder Services

Since 2004, Paul J. Lanzikos has served as Executive Director of North Shore Elder Services, Inc. He served as Cabinet Secretary of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs for Governor Michael S. Dukakis and is currently a member of the Massachusetts Public Health Council appointed by Governor Deval Patrick. He has over forty years' experience designing, implementing, analyzing, and managing programs serving older adults. Mr. Lanzikos received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Boston College and earned a Master in Business Administration with a certificate in health care management from Boston University. He holds membership in numerous health, long term care, and aging organizations, has served on state and national task forces, and on the board of directors of not-for-profit organizations.

Joanne Plourde

Chief Operating Officer, Northeast Arc


Joanne Plourde began her career in Human Services at the W.E. Fernald State School in Waltham. Next, Joanne took a position at North Shore Arc that allowed her to work for an agency providing services in the community. In 1988, Joanne took a position with United Cerebral Palsy of Metro Boston Inc. eventually moving into a senior management position. In 1999, Joanne returned to North Shore Arc as the Assistant Division Director for Day Services moving to Division Director in 2001. Joanne became Chief Operating Officer of Northeast Arc in July 2012, and led the strategic planning process of the organization. Joanne has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts- Lowell, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Suffolk University.

Robert Wakefield

Chief Executive Officer, Element Care


Robert Wakefield is CEO of Element Care, based in Lynn. Element Care operates a Program of All Inclusive Care for Elders (PACE) and also serves as the North Shore administrative entity managing the Commonwealth Care Alliance Senior Care Options program (SCO). Bob previously held the position of CEO of Public Sector Partners, Inc. (PSP), a non-profit health and pharmacy management consulting company affiliated with the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS). Bob also oversaw the creation of a pharmacy benefit management company under UMMS, MedMetrics Health Partners. He has served in various senior and executive roles in Massachusetts state government. He holds a BA from the University of Vermont and a MPH from George Washington University.

Mark Whitmore

Executive Director, North Shore Career Center

In 1990, Mark Whitmore was named Executive Director for the North Shore Career Center locations in the region North of Boston. From October 2000 to June 2003, Mark managed a United States Department of Labor funded project to expand the accessibility of one-stop career center services to individuals with disabilities. During this period he also began work to coordinate programming activities designed to reduce transportation barriers experienced by job seeker customers in the region. These activities culminated in the development of Employment Xpress, to provide employment related transportation alternatives in the North Shore region. Mark has been an active spokesperson regarding workforce development and transportation collaboration since 2005. He has served as a faculty member for the National Transportation Coordination Institute in Washington, DC.
